Worrying about the quants is an excessive waste of resources. Yes, they are a consideration. Having a definable system with definable entries and risk management takes the “Luck” out of it and makes it more skill related.
It looks easy on the chart but trust me the algos will stop you out every time even if you hide your stop behind prior swing highs and lows. You have to be incredibly lucky to sweat out a winning trade. There are programs that sense when they are trading with non commercial traders. In my opinion the exchanges like the CME actually assist their largest clients with this. retail trader success is in the single digits. You will get eaten alive by the algos. Good luck.
